This post is about designing a graphical abstract for an assumed paper titled "Economic Valuation of Regional Agricultural Outputs: Grains, Fruits, and Fisheries in Nigeria". The graphical assests focus on the core takeways of the paper which are: Nigeria, Grains, Fruits, and Fisheries.
These takeaways will serve as inputs, methodologically linked by directional arrows to illustrate how the study processes them into a final output. This is what 'graphical abstract' is all about.
The video guide is available on this youtube link. At the end, you should be able to transform this hand sketch idea into the publication-ready graphical abstract below using Inkscape software.
Thank you.
